Sparrow’s Oak proudly welcomes campers from Norwalk, Wilton, Westport, New Canaan, Greenwich, and Westchester County, NY. Families trust our camp for:
Morning prayers, Bible lessons, and group discussions rooted in Orthodox Christian beliefs
Experienced staff ensures children grow spiritually and socially
Arts, crafts, music, outdoor games, and team-building exercises
Build lifelong friendships while engaging in meaningful faith-based activities
Sparrow’s Oak is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization started by the Korkatzis Family on
January 18, 2022.
We are now an official ministry of the churches we serve.
We are grateful for our parish priests, parish councils and sparrow’s oak boards old and new for all the support. This wouldn’t not have been possible without the founding board.

Sparrow’s Oak has a mission with a clear goal — to lead today’s youth to the love of Christ in the Orthodox Tradition through Orthodox Christian Day Camp, taking a Pan-Orthodox inclusive approach.
Sparrow’s Oak operates as a parish ministry under the spiritual leadership of the parish priest and the oversight of the parish council. We are official ministries of Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Norwalk, CT and Church of the Archangels in Stamford CT.
Executive Director Sandy Korkatzis has over 23 years of recreation experience, serving as Superintendent of Recreation for 3 different municipalities. She has been a Sunday School Director since 2020.
